Shower room

  • Location: Stalybridge
  • Installed in: 2016

The old ensuite had a toilet and basin in it. Space under the eaves was wasted space and used for storage, but was not concealed. Our customer wanted to add a shower to the room and ideally have doors over the eave space to provide concealed storage.

We moved the door to the ensuite more central with the room to allow space for a shower enclosure. We replaced the ceiling with ceiling panels and the one light fitting with LED lights, to brighten the entire room. An extractor fan was installed as the room does not have a window. The large shower enclosure makes best use of the space and a basin and toilet with concealed cistern were added. The worktop space adds practicality to the room. White glass sliding doors were installed in the eaves space. A towel warmer and underfloor heating were will make the room cosy in the winter.

By making much better use of this compact ensuite, Tim has given our customer the wish list that they wanted.
