Shower room and bedroom swap

Our customer had a good sized bathroom and then a very small bedroom and ideally wanted to swap the two rooms around. We investigated the feasibility and determined this could be achieved, no easy feat as the soil pipe needed to run through the roof of the garage and the roof space of the back of the kitchen.

We first carried out the pipework and then converted the old tiny bedroom into a perfect sized shower room, with walk in shower and plenty of bespoke storage. As this is now at the front of the home our customer didn’t want satin privacy glass, so instead she had blinds installed that fit within the glass doubled glazed unit – absolutely ideal for this room.

We then removed the old bathroom, and also removed the old unused chimney breast to create more room. We installed plug sockets, lighting, a light switch and a radiator and took care of the decorating.
