The Rise of the Bathless Bathroom
During our 15 years in business we have definitely seen an increase in the number of customers removing their bath and replacing it with a larger walk in shower. During the decision making process many customers will say that they never take a bath and that they would love a roomier area with a powerful shower, often just like the one they have experienced in a nice hotel. Of course, then a few will add the nagging question; But, will it put potential buyers off when I sell my home?

Home improvement TV programmes would say that if your home will attract family buyers with small children, then they will want a bath. But, if you plan to stay in your home for the next ten years do you really want it designed for the next occupant? It’s a question only you can answer, but by looking though our shower only and wetroom only installations you can see that many people are opting for a bathless bathroom.

Also as many hotels are now getting rid of baths, even in family suites. I think we can safely say that as a population our washing habits are changing and our bathroom requirements and designs have to reflect this.
