3 piece bathroom

  • Location: Wythenshawe
  • Installed in: 2014

Details:

This is a bathroom that we will always remember as our customer gave birth to her daughter during our installation (luckily not at home!) With the little one arriving a little earlier than planned we pulled out all the stops to get the job finished as quickly as possible for our customers and their new addition.

As you can see from the before photos the existing bathroom didn’t have a toilet in it and felt very small due to a large airing cupboard taking up lots of room. We did a ‘mini makeover’ in the downstairs toilet which involved bringing the soil pipe up from the downstairs toilet and boxing it in so that it is hidden. Upstairs we concealed the soil pipe within a new stud wall which also housed the new concealed cistern.
Our customers brief was that they wanted a bigger bath and shower but didn’t have room to have separate areas, we fitted an oversized P shaped bath ideal for creating extra space for bathing and showering. The fixed rainhead and handheld shower add practicality to the area. We also fitted a concealed cistern which then created a void above the toilet ideal for creating bespoke storage. A mounted basin added further bespoke storage beneath the basin and behind the mirror. The room was partially tiled in London Grey with feature tile around the bath area and our customer is taking care of the decorating, although this is a service that we can also offer. We are delighted with the finished result.

“You were all amazing and can’t thank you enough for the final result. It far better than our expectations. Little baby Evelyn loves the bath n having a good splash about. Thank you again”
